Alternative Routes to the Green Man
Here is a map of the area around the Green Man. Refer to this where it says "walk from here" in the instructions below.
In most cases, one can get to the Green Man pub by taking the Underground to Great Portland Street station, and turning right. However, there are some times when it is impossible to travel by tube to Great Portland Street (usually when the station is closed for refurbishment, or when the Hammersmith & City/Circle/District Lines are out of service). In this case, I recommend the following alternatives...
If you're entering London via...
Euston
- Walk right along Euston Road, until you get to the Green Man.
- Victoria or Northern line south to Warren Street, and walk from there.
- Victoria line south to Oxford Circus, Bakerloo line north to Regent's Park, and walk from there.
King's Cross, King's Cross Thameslink, St. Pancras
- Walk right along Euston Road, until you get to the Green Man.
- Victoria line south to Warren Street, and walk from there.
- Victoria line south to Oxford Circus, Bakerloo line north to Regent's Park, and walk from there.
Liverpool Street
- Central line west to Oxford Circus, Bakerloo line north to Regent's Park, and walk from there.
- Central line west to Oxford Circus, Victoria Line north to Warren Street, and walk from there.
London Bridge
- Northern line north to Bank, then as for Liverpool Street.
Marylebone
- Bakerloo line south to Regent's Park, and walk from there.
Victoria
- Victoria line north to Oxford Circus, Bakerloo line north to Regent's Park, and walk from there.
- Victoria line north to Warren Street, and walk from there.
Waterloo, Waterloo East
- Bakerloo line north to Regent's Park, and walk from there.
